We all love coffee! Who doesn’t enjoy a good-smelling cup of coffee, right? However, some of us are really obsessed with coffee! Many people can’t imagine starting their day without a cup of coffee. Those coffee lovers even know the types of coffee, the various ways to brew it, etc. However, going out for coffee on a regular basis can be both difficult and costly. Instead, consider creating your own home coffee bar. For those of you, a coffee bar is a perfect design idea for your home! While these java stations are going to save you pennies, they will make everything you need organized. Plus, you can also personalize them to fit your lifestyle and house decor.

Coffee Bar Ideas

To create your own coffee bar; first, you have to find a perfect spot in your home. Maybe you have a counter space you can use or you may have extra space in a cabinet in your kitchen that you can settle. If those are not available, you can turn a rolling cart, small desk, bookshelf, etc. into your coffee station!

1) Use the Unused Corners

We cannot use every corner in our home. Sometimes those spots stay empty. However, you do not need the biggest space in your home to turn it into a “coffee corner”! Turn an available corner in your house into a coffee station by adding shelves on the walls and placing a small desk or rolling cart! You can even use chalkboards, etc. to personalize your coffee bar.

2) Turn the Old Furniture Into a Coffee Bar

Like mentioned before, use that old bookshelf or the desk you no longer use to make your coffee bar! Do not forget to place them near a plug. Similar to our DIY pot rack ideas, you can make a mug hanger to insert on the wall to showcase your beautiful mugs and other utensils you use during making coffee!

3) Use the Available Counter or Cabinet Space

If you have cabinet space in your kitchen, use it for this organizing hack! Store your mugs, coffees, etc. in your cabinet, and put your coffee machines under it.  Same with the available counter space, store what you need on the counter. If you still need extra space you can

What You Need For Coffee Bars

Now that you know where you are going to place your bar, you can check the following items off your list to place them in your coffee station:

  • coffee beans coffee maker (selection of beans for guests)
  • spoons napkins coffee grinder 6-8 coffee cups
  • sugar + creamer in a bowl
  • cinnamon
  • biscotti
  • tray
  • bowls/canisters for storing the above-mentioned
